Could be. I was in high school when all these cars were coming out and as I
recall
those 13 sec times were generally done at the hands of a drag oriented buch
of
tuners who played with tires, advance curves (try that one today!), air
cleaner removal,
etc. Drive a totally stock car in off the street and simply pull up to the
line and it was
a different story.
