Okay, one (Mark) fits my description. Barry has the car he drove in ST for
sale, and is currently running the Miata in ST2. No one else on the SC is even
found in the 2004 Street Tire points listing.
My point is this. The SFR Steering Committee seems to be making decisions
that seem to me to be "anti Regional competitor" and go in a direction that
wants to promote "National Level Competition." Yes, SFR had its Nationals
heyday
years ago, and other Regions seem to be catching up. But I would submit that
a strong Regional program fosters those National Championships. How do we
know that someone who competes in Street Tire today won't be a future SFR
National Champion? Discouraging them by disbanding their class is
counterproductive.
