rsvp system for events?

Hi all,

another approach might be to get an email sense of who might be
attending any particular event, this is not a reservation system, but
will possibly allow the event organizers to see if there is a trend
(through a kind of informal sampling) for that particular occasion, and
adjust, or be prepared to adjust accordingly, this obviously isn't
perfect, but clearly we haven't been discussing the perfect here,
