Geeze, am I John Lye in another Life? Two years ago, I drove my TR6
from Maryland to Colorado. This is why it became my only car. I
could only move one car to Colorado. *I* sold the Honda. :-)

I'm 30, and commute from Broomfield, Co (just North of Westminster) to
Boulder. It's about 15 miles each way, but sheesh, these stories are
just too close for comfort. John, why not come out for a visit, and
I'll treat you to a fine Ale at the Walnut? I'd like to meet myself! :-)

I can sympathize with Peter's comment, and know where he's coming
from. However, I should also add that right after the tranny was
fixed, I got it back from the shop, and installed it into the car on a
Thursday night. Test drove it on my commute on Friday and drove the
car to Phoenix from Boulder (alone) in one day on Saturday. (Approx
800 miles) Hung out with a friend on Sunday, drove back home Monday.
I think I posted that story to the list a few years ago.
Anyway, yeah, the firm ride can get a little wearing, but not enough!
You think a dinky Honda will be better? Maybe, but not enough! :-)
I drove my Honda CRX to Orlando, from Washington DC in a day, and my
butt hurt just as much when I saw Micky as it did when I got to
Phoenix. New seat diaphragms are a good thing.
If making the TR6 your ONLY transportation isn't that appealing to
you, at least make it your PRIMARY transportation.
