- Well, well. Here I thought I knew every bolt on a T type. I was one of the guys voting for 8 x 1.0 mm metric thread based on all other bolt threads of that size being 8 x 1.0 mm on the TD/TF gearbox.

- You should check the thrust washers in the spider gears. Many years ago I broke a TD half shaft and the cause was the spider gear brass thrust washers were so worn that the gear teeth met on the end
