Mick Conde, who is copied, can rebuild the tack drive gearbox.

There may be replacement parts, but I'm not aware of any immediately.
However, if you remove the rivets, twist the case halves slightly, then
redrill and replace the rivets, you can cause the worn gears to engage more
fully thus saving the reduction box.

The gears, especially the smaller one, in my tach reduction box are
shot. I think I remember earlier threads on replacements. Anyone have
a source?
