RE: reversing positive ground

Interesting points of view about things like points,
but does anyone have any idea how all these "bad things
will happen" rumors got started about polarity as applied
to coils and ignition systems?

I still can't come up with a single tangible negative
impact from leaving the coil wired "backwards", other
than confusion in later electrical diagnosis work.
