Windscreen stanchions are Dzus on pre TS60K cars, and machine screws on Post 60K cars. A 1960 TR3 should be machine screws. If you stand on your head, you might get lucky enough to have some penetrating oil land on the threads from inside the car at the outer edges of the scuttle/top of the kick panels.
