Well, I am pretty sure it is original, but maybe a dealer-added item. I am
hoping to find
a new similar compressed fiber pad, but I am using a back-up plan of having
a padded
cork spacer....

Doesn't sound original to me..........check to see if it really
hits.........mine doesn't ..........if you want something like that there,
however.........check a carpet store for some scrap padding...........I did
put some of that carpet padding under the reinforcement strips on the
underside of the bonnet to cut down on vibration..........<
