I'm not sure about a lifetime warranties but Odyssey Deep Cycle batteries
(dry cell) have a 8 year warranty. They are deep cycle batteries in that
they can be fully discharged and recharged over 300 times without killing
the battery (hence the 8 year warranty). They also charge very quickly.
Those properties make them very good additions to LBCs with a generator (or
weak alternator) based charging system. However, they aren't cheap. Here in
Australia Odyssey deep cycle batteries cost about 4-5 times what a normal
battery does.
