The early TR4s had that shiny metal bezel and round glass on the
gauges. You will see it in early workshop manuals and the Piggott
book. The black bezel change over body number was 4398CT
according to Piggott.

I am told that there are a small number of early black bezel cars
that have a black cringle paint version of the bezel but most had
the black vinyl covered version.
