In a motor mag I read about a procedure which seems to worke very well as long
as you live in an area where the winters are cold and you have the time to wait
until it gets cold:
Allow the car to get the outside temperature on a cold winter day and hit with
a
reasonable sized hammer on the undercoating. Bitumen undercoating will be
almost
as hard as glass and crack and ....come off in plates. Seems to be a very clean
and smart job this way.
