It's a mess no matter what you use! I used a Wagner electric heat gun
and putty knife to get the bulk of the goo off. Just have a hose handy
for the globs that turn into smokers! After you get the bulk of it off,
and everthing cools off, wipe it with a rag and a solvent (I used
lacquer thinner) to get it down to the clean, rustfree ;-), paint and
metal.
