I have my tires mounted by Butler Tire in Marietta. They are one of the
highest quality groups in Atlanta, and tend to be a bit more expensive than
most. They charge most folks about $20-$25 to dismount, the same to mount,
and about $10 to balance. Oh, and a couple bucks if you need a valave
stem, plus $1 tire disposal fee here in Georgia.

They squeeze big tires on my rims, but have never complained. 245/40-17 on
7.5" front, 275/40-17 on 9 inch rear.

Since I went through 5 sets of Hoosiers last year (well, I do love to
autocross), they give me a special deal. $10 to dismount, same to mount.
And after I told them not to balance the tires, they started balancing for
free. <g>

How much is "average" to get tires mounted?

I cannot find anyone to touch Hoosier DOT radials for less than $25ea.
