Well all, I spent the day trying the various solutions offered up by the
group and nothing seemed to change anything until I started playing with the
carbs directly.

Nelson Riedel's article on the Buckeye site gave me the blueprint for
rebuilding my carbs and in the section on putting them back together,
suggested that the Idle trim screw be closed completly. Well in trying to
get the car started today, I noticed that the carb closest to the firewall
was wet with gas while the other was dry. I started playing with the idle
trim screw and was able to get it started and running however rough.

With that, I think I have determined that it is a carb adjustment that is
needed and I will wait until I have the carb adjustment tool to play with
this further.

Thanks one and all for the input and I will let you know how it turns out if
I ever receive that wonderful tool from TRF. (I've been told they have it
arriving next week so hopefully the week after.)

Regards on wise ones,

Mark Bullard
