Don, I put a small, one-wire alternator in my vintage racing TR3 a couple of
seasons ago, and have been very pleased. Unit is made by East Coast Auto
Electric and I sourced through Jeg's in Columbus, OH. Part number 358-2020,
$139.99. Easy to mount, and only one wire to the battery. Plenty of amps to
run ignition, electric fuel pump, and electric overdrive. Jeg's phone:
800-345-4545. Good luck. John Harkness, Bellville, OH.
