My '701600 runs a tad warm when the heater is on, too warm for comfort 
when the heater is off. This is all since a rad rodding out, new presmog 
recurved dist, new hoses, new sender, new thermostat.  The thermostat 
(from the NAPA store) looks different that the one that came out. The old 
one had a larger, centered opening.  the new one has a smaller opening 
which is off-center.  Am I running the wrong thermostat?  A lot changed 
at once.
