You said it Larry, I couldn't agree more. I made sure to let the NHTSA
know how I feel and I hope you will too. Most politicians and
bureaucrats use "public feedback" as a rough measure of what they can
get away with. Passing a law like this will make them "feel good" about
"doing something about the problem" even if the cure is worse than the
disease. One of the reasons I support the SCCA is because I have this
(hopefully not naive) belief they will represent our interests to the
kind of people who would otherwise trod on our interests in pursuit of
whatever they think will get them elected.
