"Begin figuring out," Jay? In broad terms, SM is a
"street car" class where (almost) anything goes.
Turbos, superchargers, engine swaps, differential
and tranny swaps, brake upgrades - where does
one get the idea that SM is going to be cheap? Even
the basic premise of the class is expen$ive :-)
Not only will SM survive, it'll thrive. Quite a few new
SM cars are being built as we speak.
