Those 6 little studs (shouldn't be bolts) are all that hold the rear wheels
to the car.  So for starters, they take roughly 1/4 of the weight of the car
(and occupants) just sitting still.  Add to that cornering forces (which can
approach half the weight of the car per corner times a leverage factor
because the bolt circle is much smaller than the tire diameter); plus what
happens when you drive over a speed bump or equivalent ... Then consider
what happens when they fail.
