I only know that old Lucas fuzes......can become loose on the ends, corrode,
etc. and blow from internal resistance......I still have some from the late
60's in my wife's Jag......probably should replace them all with
BUZZ.......Randall had a post about the equivalency..........

(30 minutes later) Well.........I just had to find it in my
files.......which leave something to be desired!..........you owe
me!!!............<g>
.......(from Randall 03/29/02)

Lucas Buzz Replacement

50 amp AGC30
35 amp AGC25
30 amp AGC20
25 amp AGC15
20 amp AGC10
10 amp AGC7.5
5 amp AGC 3

And of course from Randall........the quote:

"Quoted long ago from the Jag lover's web site:"

"Simon S. Johnson sends the following data: "..the source: a 1974 edition of
"Buss Fuse Car and Truck List" which has on the back cover a section called
"Foreign Car Fuse Replacement Data"--foreign to the US, that is. It states that
"English standards differ from US standards. This accounts for the difference
in ampere ratings"

My recommendation.........change out all old Lucas fuzes for new Buzzs.......

Randall always comes through, eh!!!

Cheers!!!

Clark
