I couldn't tell a GT6 from a 240Z  (just kidding) but for $700 I would buy
either of them ! ! ! !    :-)

P.S.  - almost whatever the condition you'll have more than $700 in parts in
the worst case.

Transmission isn't all that expensive, even if a total rebuild is in order.
 If you like the car DO IT.
