Oops. Neglected to suggest that the "I" probably is a "1". They did reach 
six digits with Herald engine numbers, and GA168340 would be one of the 
39hp fire-breathing beasts. I'm not too sure on the "ES" suffix. It could 
have been a "factory rebuilt" or "spares" engine, although those often 
carried a suffix "HESK" (at least in the GD series of engines).
