Healy 3000's have inline 6 cylinder, iron head and block, 3000 cc's, 4 spd
with electric overdrive. Lots of torque, tranny's somewhat vulnerable.
Austin Healy Sprite, up to 1275 cc's, iron head and block, in block cam,
4peeds, will not beat a 1600 Datsun without major mods.
The big Healy goes well on a straight line, but antiquated shocks and
suspension won't allow it to keep up on a typical roadster fun run. Make sure
he doesn't have one that has a V/8 stuck in it with full chassis upgrades.
