This would be interesting since the first US Ford (flathead) V8
wasn't introduced in this country until the mid '30s (1934 perhaps?)

Hard to believe Ford would have been manufacturing V8s for MGs and
putting flathead 4s in there own production cars, i.e., Model Ts.
