Eric,

I did notice that your tires felt a bit harder than the last time I saw them
(NASA autox on July 22). How do they feel when they're warmed up? Are they
sticky? From what I've heard, Kumhos should last about 80-100 events.

Another thing: I've noticed that GGF is fairly slippery and getting off the
line will get you in big trouble (as I demonstrated in run 2, where I got
off line, got wobbly, and even managed to hit a pointer cone!). During the
midday coursewalk, you could clearly see the clean line through the first
part of the course (the sweeping left into the the left/right section) and
later in the day, I noticed several people spun there, probably because they
were off the clean line. So, maybe your tires are fine and you just
inadvertently took the dirty line? Is this where you spun?
