Hmm, I've been wondering this also. If you find out
the answer please tell me...

I do note:

1) It isn't clear whether the MR2-S or '01 Miata will
be the car to have in BS. A lot might depend on the
Miata's available option packages, which haven't been
set in stone yet - will it have 15" or 16" wheels? are
the rumors of bigger brakes true? What does the torque
curve of the new Miata motor look like? To 6-speed or
not to 6-speed? ABS or not?

2) If you can take your beating like a man(!) for a
year, there would seem to be a good case for moving
the M1 1.8's to CS (or whatever it's called) in '02.
Park it for a year?

3) Can you get a trailer hitch for the MR2-S? - if not
you are going to need a trailer to put it on, and a
truck to pull the trailer.

It'll be kind of sad to watch this car fade away: no
ABS, no traction control, manual steering - i.e. *you*
get to drive the car. Nothing else new has neither PS,
ABS or TC.
