My sweeping statement was power determines acceleration, not
torque. Of course the condition is that the gearing of the car is
matched to the engine. This was so obvious that I neglected to
mention it -- perhaps I ass-u-me-d too much.
If you would pick engine B over engine A, then we agree. If you
would prefer engine A, let's race, what odds do you want? ;)
