Jerry,

You use standard thrust washers and any good machine shop should be able to
perform the modification. I am sure there are quite a few people that have
done this same modification since I know I was not the first.

Kyle.

I've been in email contact with Kyle Rice, a 6-Pack member, whose modified
TR6 was featured in 6-Pack's magazine. In response to my query, here's what
he says about his solution to thrust washers:

"When you pin the thrust washer, you also add a second washer to make a
full 360 degree washer. You then pin them with dowel pins so they will not
move, rotate or fall out. You have to machine the end cap to accept the
other washer."

No mention of materials used.

Anyone else tried this?
