All of the Standard-Triumph SC engines had 4 exhaust ports. Engines up to
1147cc had 2 inlet ports, 1296 and 1493cc engines had 4 inlet ports. The
combined centre exhaust port is a feature of the BMC A-series engines - maybe
your header is for one of those?
