Hi:

Sounds as though you may not be receiving enough gas under load. There is a
filter in the gas pump, on the under side, very accessible and few people check
or clean it. Also, there are filters in the carburetor float bowls. They are
located between the banjo fitting and the intake of the fuel bowl. Actually, 
they
are inside the fuel bowl intake and can be very hard to take out. The banjo bolt
is the culprit. I use teflon tape on the banjo bolt threads to ease the removal
of this rascal.
