Words of wisdom.  My favorite tow is a Suburban with a 6.2L diesel. 
Won't win 
acceleration contests but would pull a house, and is steady as a rock at
75 with 
roadster and trailer in tow. 15-20 mpg too!  Friend with a big block get
7...ha!
