Many on this list use them as daily drivers, If you get a mechanically
sound one that should not be a problem

That depends on wher you are, what year, 1600 or 2000, and your version
of clean and straight. My advice would be to look at a few in your area
(Roadster owners are usually willing to show them off) and decide from
there
