"Some places won't resurface them"... Hehehehe...

Simple answer: crossdrilled rotors are NEVER to be resurfaced. Period.
When they are 'turned' they will chatter. This will cause an even worse
resurfacing. For the life of me, rotors are so cheap so why not just
replace them?

I have used crossdrilled rotors in the past. They are fine and look cool
but that is about it. You can get better bang for your buck by getting a
high quality brake pad.

Something I have noticed that nobody has mentioned is that crossdrilled
rotors are noisy. I just did not like that and traded the 'looks' for just
regular non-crossdrilled rotors.
