What do you want to be there were noticeable dents in the boot lid where
each rack leg sits on the sheet metal afterwards?
My 3A has minor depressions where the rubber cupped lower feet of the
factory rack sits on the boot lid. Maybe if you run a reinforcing band
on the underside of the boot lid.
Your best solution is to buy a Morgan.
