Paint it the way you like it. My car was originally white with red interior, and
it's now Green with a tan interior, not an original color scheme for that year
of car. Who cares? If someone else comes into posession of it some time in the
future, they can worry about it.

I've seen lot's of cars with non-original color schemes, and they *all* look
good in their own way.
