  The glass spark plug is only for tuning and can only be
seen while you are hunched over the engine bay.

  The oxygen sensor can be used for "monitoring" at any time
while driving at speed. It can be left installed as long as
you wish.

  As well, colourtune-type products are vulnerable to changes
in appearance from different gasoline formulations. Something
oxygen sensors are not.
