I would think this question would be best asked to the Redi-Dip co. 
They should understand the process best and what proceedures are recommended 
for the best results.

That should depend on chemical compatibility and primer requirements.. Not 
all primers will stick to just any surface andf need special preparations. 
Again. You will need to get involved with both the dip aplicator and the 
paint specialist you plan on using. 

As far as the frame and ensuring rust protection internally the best results 
will to have the entire frame hot dipped galvanized. The inside will be 
protected many times better than an attempt at painting. As far as the 
outside goes you can just paint it for cosmetic purposes as the galvanizing 
will do the rest.
