Robert,
Been there, done that. First give the nut a shot of PB
Blaster or some penetrating oil. Then remove the oil
pan and put a one foot long 2x4 between the crankshaft
counterbalancer and the engine block and use a long
breaker bar on the nut. This is a good time to replace
rod bearings and check the crankshaft endfloat.
