As someone else said, it depends on the car. There was a period
when Pat was using our Morris Minor as her daily driver, and
we were experiencing some shakedown problems. 

It turns out that there is a limit to how many times AAA will tow
a vehicle in a year, even if you have "unlimited tow" (AAA Gold,
or some such). We didn't hit the limit, but got warned... :-)
