The one advantage of four-post lifts is that they are structurally
secure even if unbolted from the floor. This means you can move them
around if you want to. In fact, you can even buy wheel kits so you can
move them with a car loaded!
I suspect that you could use some sort of beam across the ramps to jack
the car up off its wheels.
