Time for my "chip in" & then for me to ask a question.

I believe I have the only original MMM engine carrying the correct blue
colour. This is the Q-0type engine that came out of EX127 via the Mercedes
Factory _ read all about it in a previous MMM Year book.

Now that dosent mean that it was the only blue that was used but it will do me
as a reference point.

I believe P (and indeed most MMM Engines) were Red.

Now, guys, your help please.

P's & N's used tyo different clutch driven plates. Can any one give me a
thickness measurement on either or both. Worn plate will do.

Thanks

Pip

  Lawrie,

Great input. Should we take a count of engine colors in our Ps when we
obtained them? Mine was GREEN. Lawrie has accounted for 2 Ps that were
GREEN. Lew's block is GREEN. Anybody else?

I'm glad I painted my P engine 15 years ago because I wouldn't want to
choose now. But what color on an F block?
