Has anyone else used Goodyears "Blue Streak Special & Can Am" tire on the
salt? I'm thinking about purchasing a set for the rear to go along with
the front runners. If I use the 7.00-15 tire that has a 8.6" tread and a
26.7" overall diameter, I should go 205mph @ 6,356 rpm.
I wonder what the percent of slippage is though at top speed? Has anybody
figured it out? I'm guestimating it's less than 2%. In fact I wonder if
tire growth wouldn't almost counter the increase in rpm needed to offset
the slippage?
Any thoughts?
