Rear end

Does anyone know if the gearing for the rear end is different in a 1500 vs a
2000, also would like to know if it's so whether someone had one they can give
away or sell at a reasonable cost. I am looking at putting a VG30DETT in my
1500, still haven't worked out the final measurements but looking. Also have
any of you made any disc brake conversions to the rear axle??
