I have to totally disagree with the race car
modification crowd. Once a roadster is changed
I doubt it will ever be stock again. I want mine
close to original because I think it is the best
looking type of car and most fun car to drive on
the road. I don't beieve a roadster has to be
maintained at 100% stock to maintain it's value.
Changing wheels, seats, paint colors is ok - like
Andy says it's your car enjoy it and these are
things the next owner can change back. I guess I
do plan for my car to be passed on entact to someone
else who will appreciate it for what it is. I know
that's what the man I purchased it from had in mind
when he sold it to me. Then again I have had my car
for about 20+ years while some of the modification
people have had theirs less than 20 months.
If you want to do a lot of radical mods - why not
get an MGB - a dime a dozen, plenty of parts avail.
Who cares if you have a fender bender.
You can't beat a Roadster for touring, Sunday driving,
and stress relief after a long day
Mike
