About honing those brake cylinders: My father who's been a mechanic for nearly 50 years now agrees that no crosshatch pattern should exist for master cylinders. He says to just lightly go over them with a fine hone, he's partial to the ball hones, and don't move it around a lot. That method has worked fine for my truck and my TR7. |
