I agree, man am I agreeable these days :^).

The event was a major organizational challenge, met. I think a big round of
applause is in order for those who contributed, some in ways beyond my
comprehension. As for most of this thread I think it the critiques were
offered in the spirit of helping to improve upon success, not detracting from
the feat. And echoing Paul's comments, I saw many more smiling faces than
not... it was a lot of fun, even for Bryan, who I'm casting my vote for as the
most courageous SCCA leader of 2005 :^).

Because of time constraints, I didn't volunteer, but John and Maggy were
there. I found the whole event incredible that it could be even done at all.
That was a major organizational feat, and that some of the details got lost,
the last minute changes, etc. were inevitable.
Our other pulbicaton MotoRacing's key photographer Paul Zimerman said he
had never attended a race where the people were friendlier!
I did watch a race, or parts of it Sunday, and the track segment was
brutal. I'm surprised any car finished! I hope they change the course next
year and avoid the train tracks! As a viewer the train track was a major
problem.
Many thanks to Bryan for trying to stay on top of the multiple changes.
Speaking of thankless jobs!
