i have never seen Speed Racer. :( but i have seen a full size replica Speed
Racer car at a car show i went to last year at Knotts. :P
we got only three channels where i grew up, and a fourth if i could get the
antenna to rotate to point at binghamton. that was exciting as we could get
the sound to Star Trek and sometimes make out a very snowy black and white
picture of kirk and cronies trapped on some planet. i must say that it was
quite a shock when i saw them in full color finally! in my minds eye i had
never pictured captain kirk in so much eye makeup.
what i did instead was to make little race tracks in the dirt and sling my
match boxes into highly oversteering slip angles.
