I usually stay at the Best Western near downtown when
I do the hotel thing in Sacto. It's not the cheapest,
but it is a pretty nice hotel with quite a lot of
amenities for the price ($75/rm, IIRC, with two beds,
a fridge and other nice stuff).
Only real downside other than price is that it's about
20 minutes away from McClellan, though nearly all of
that is freeway.
