Dealers can be such pricks sometimes. Generally it stems from a complete
lack of knowledge and/or caring. Remember that under the Magnusson/Moss
Warranty Act they have to be able to prove that your mod caused the problem
before they can deny coverage. You would most likely win a court battle,
eventually, but at what great cost? Sometimes even standing on the moral
high ground sucks.
